Details

This program is ideal for students passionate about plants, food, and sustainability. Students will explore the entire food system—from growing and harvesting to processing, marketing, and preparing food.
 
 Key Features Include:
 – Hands-On Experience: Work in school gardens, greenhouses, and local farms to grow fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
 – Farm to Plate Education: Learn about soil health, composting, sustainable agriculture, and the culinary use of fresh produce.
 – Community Impact: Participate in school and community-based food projects that promote healthy eating and food access.
 – Career Exploration: Learn about careers in horticulture, agriculture, culinary arts, food science, and sustainability.
