Roadside Assistance Procedure

This procedure outlines the steps staff must follow when a company-owned vehicle requires roadside assistance (jumpstarts, flat/spare tire replacement, lockout, fuel delivery, towing, and winching assistance).

Step 1: Call Best Roadside Service 1-800-946-5413

What to expect:

  • 24-hour call center support.
  • The call center will locate a tow company to assist you.
  • Provide your membership number and the last six (6) digits of the VIN (located in red on the membership card).
  • Depending on ther service needed, a credit of up to $200.00 may be applied.
  • Any remaining balance must be paid with your personal credit card. Submit a travel reimbursement request for repayment.
  • If applicable, have the vehicle towed to Fox Marquette or Fox Negaunee. 

Step 2: Notification to Marquette-Alger RESA

After service has been arranged and the vehicle is secure, text or call:

The notification MUST include the following information:

  • Employee Name and Contact: Your full name and best way to reach you.
  • Vehicle Information: Model name and last three (3) numbers of the license plate.
  • Incident Date and Time
  • Reason for Service: (e.g., flat tire, engine failure, accident, etc.)
  • Tow Company Details:
    • Name of the towing company used
    • Pick-up location (address where the vehicle broke down)
    • Drop-off location (address of the repair shop)
