Superior Shores is an educational placement that is determined through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. The program has a strong emphasis on mental health treatment. Eligible students include those who are ages 12-18, have an IEP, and who experience significant mental and behavioral health needs that interfere with their ability to succeed in a typical school environment. Students continue to work toward their academic competencies, while also receiving therapy and psychiatric services to address their mental and behavioral health needs.
